Better than facebook?

Call me crazy but I was one of those college kids that LIVED on their facebooks but ever since I got Stanley and Herbie I have LIVED instead (all the while living on this forum too hehe)... But I just tried to revisit facebook and if your unaware, I live in Dallas and the newsfeed was LIT UP with Mavs posts... Im sorry but I am not a liar or a fake... I watch Rangers and Cowboys and with the recent football bull $%$# I may put even that on hold... I can't stand people that come out of the woodwork and give "GO MAVS!!" posts when 20 games ago they weren't even paying attention... Im sorry but I hate basketball and no amount of local pride or spirit can change that.. So I officially made the switch... CHAMELEONFORUMS.COM is now my HOMEPAGE baby!!!

i remember when i got my facebook back when you had to be a college student to open an account...it has changed so much now that anyone can join and it always causes problems...i hardly ever use mine, just the occasional check every now and again
 
Well I have both Chameleon Forums and Facebook as my homepage(s), but the icing on my homepage cake is LOL cats. I can waste a whole day (or precious sleep time like right now) staying in the confines of my three homepages.

Someone get me a life!
 
haha my top 3 are here, fauna, and kingsnake...i always know when there are new chams for sale haha...and if im not on the computer, im usually watching netflix...what an exciting post-surgery life i live haha

don't fret... Im watching netflix now... The joys of a macbook... I can post AND get my B Movie groove on!!

haha no doubt, ive watched all the good ones so ive been weeding through the B (some even C) movies haha...let me know if you come across anything worth watching...ive mainly just been watching documentaries bc there seems to be a fair amount of decent ones on there
 
They just put on like 4 Kevin Smith movies!! Clerks, Chasing Amy, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back... I've watched them ALL today and now I'm on Scary Movie 2

haha yeah i watched those too, and it made me go find my Mallrats DVD to watch later
 
I can honestly say I really like Facebook... If you have or had a Myspace then you know what bad is. I got Myspace when I was 18 and it has changed a lot since then... I don't even use it anymore and I stick to FB. I don't have family or friends here in SD and am one of the few people who doesn't have a phone. Psh, I don't even have a computer with internet access but I manage to steal some time with my brother in laws computer, lol! I'm lucky I have so many critters to keep me busy. :D
 
I was thinking the same thing the other day. I don't check my Facebook unless I don't pay my phone bill and use it as free messaging or to check out concerts in my area/good parties. I only have one friend who takes advantage of Facebook and advertises his photography and websites. This place is my homepage now.
 
I'm a big fan of facebook... I moved a few states away from all of my family and its a great way for me to ignore them and not have to talk to them on the phone;) and still keep in touch with my friends....

And Sean... I completely understand what your saying... I'm from Voston and all the "GO BRUINS" posts are hillarious.. I mean .. I like the Bruins.. but if they werent in the finals I wouldnt even have known the NHL was still in existance.... Go Sox though :D
 
Hoj... I'm with you... I post all my photos on FB .. I just realized I have 49 albums on there... HOLY OBNOXIOUS FB friend I am!
