Best places to buy captive bred Veiled Chameleons

Where are the best places to buy captive bred veiled chameleons. Are FLchams and/or veildchameleon.com any good?

I would say a nearby store just because I don't like the idea of mailing a chameleon... but I'd assume Chameleon Forums' Classifieds are good and FLChams looks reliable

I would think you would be getting a much healthier cham by purchasing off of a sponsor of this forum than you would get at any pet store. Overnight shipping wont be too bad for the little guy...

Thanks for that! I'm just nervous that he'll get too cold or stressed out or something... Do you have a chameleon? If so, where did you get it from and how was he when he arrived?

I think the weather at this time of year would be ideal for shipping. Neither too hot or too cold.

I have a Veiled, got him at a local reptile shop that I have been dealing with for about 15 years.

there's a link to my lil (but growing like a weed) guy.

Next one will be from a breeder. Most likely EHChameleons (they have beautiful Panthers) as they are fairly close to me and I would drive to pick it up.

There aren't many reptile shows, but I was considering craigslist since I can find a local seller... I figure I will look at the pics to see it's not stressed or unhealthy and that it's hand-tamed... would that be a good idea do you think?
