I personally use the calcium without D3 most days, and only every other Sunday use the one with D3 on crickets. I use a vitamin supplement on the opposite Sundays. What you will want to do will depend on many factors (age, gendre and type of chameleon, whether or not it gets real outdoor sunshine, what you gutload with, etc). For lots of info on supplementing, check out the collection of links in this blog entry: https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/sandrachameleon/65-supplements.html

I recommend not offering too many mealworms. They're hard for the chameleon to digest. At most, I offer them once a week, and at that I choose freshly molted ones (soft and white).
Better feeder options include: sillkworms, roaches, butterworms, hornworms, moths, isopods, superworms, phasmidea... check this blog entry for a good list of feeders: https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/sandrachameleon/74-feeders.html

and remember to gutload!

I think www.bugorder.com is the cheapest, but I have dealt with Rob at canadianfeeders.com and he is a great guy, I'd highly recommend him.

He works with newts and salamanders, which makes me want to support him also because we all know how much amphibians are in danger of becoming entirely extinct in the near future (chytrid fungus).
