Bert the angry Veiled

I let my veiled bite me just to see how stronge it was it hurt a little:D

Mine really are very nice Chameleons (my male has lunged a couple of times, just warning lunges though - he missed by a mile........). I don't want to piss him off enough just for my curiosity, 'cos he's so chilled......

Agreed.......except for my Veileds - they are as pure as the driven snow, :) I've not been bit yet.........

My female yemen bit me when i was messing with her stuff she got sick and decided to put me in my place. It stung for like 2mins then it was fine. She's lovely and friendly it was just that one time i pushed my luck. She must of got out of the wrong side of the bed that day.

Yeah, I reckon my male is just biding his time, lulling me into a false sense of security, and then one day he'll come bite my finger off when I least expect it.....

If that's him in your display pic, that finger will disappear, he's a biggun!

Glad my Panther is still friendly. While he is still acclimatizing, he tends to arrive at the screen door at the time I would usually take him out for some sun, and he comes down when I come to spray him. It's a nightmare trying to do it all while resisting the temptation to get him out and give him a big chameleon hug (Which is essentially me sat there stroking him under the chin, so not really a hug). The good thing about having an aggressive cham is that you won't have much temptation to get him out for your own safety lol.

Well Bert moved house the other day into a Reptibreeze. I sold the wooden viv.

This is him settling in. He has his food free-ranged now which he seems to like.

My panther is housed next to him so as you can see i've had to hang a tea-towel as a temporary measure so they cant see each other.

my young male veiled el groucho only puffs up my 3 year old el grumpo puffs up and does warning strikes but he did finnally eat from my hand the other day with some hornworms which i was so proud but he is very smart when he see's me without gloves he goes for the death blow everytime and he knows his reptibreeze doors open out and he is always trying to push them open on that side no where else. he is such a little shiznit at times but i love his you can feed me but you can't hold me additude he is such a little warrior!!! my female veileds try to run at first but they are chill when i pick them up. they too are growing waaaay to fast for me

Whats that big leafed plant, looks nice?

Here was Bert last night just before sleep time. His lights had gone off so the lighting was poor. I had to increase the brightness on the photo which has made it lose its quality unfortunately.
