Bent crest on veiled chameleon

Hi! I have a veiled chameleon and his crest appears to be slightly bent in one direction. He has a 5.0 UVB bulb and I dust his crickets with calcium once a week. I'm thinking I should dust the crickets more often? I read that it is somewhat normal for chameleons to have a bent crest like mine, not sure if that is true or not! Please let me know if this is normal or not, and what I could do to fix this! Thank you!

Could we see a pic of him? You should dust with calcium with D3 once every two weeks, multivitamin once every two weeks, and calcium without D3 every other feeding. So yah once a week isn't enough in my humble opinion.

is this somethings that could be detrimental to his health? I will start with the multivitamin and calcium w/ D3 and increase his calcium dusting to every other day!

His legs look pretty straight so, I think he will be okay once you increase his supplementation. Yes the supplementation is very important if not done correctly he could get MBD. Hope this was helpful.
