Behavioral Change/Shedding

I have had my veiled for about 2 months now and he's growing very quickly. I would say he's about 5-6 months old. He went from not really paying much attention to my presence or climbing on to my hand to hiding at the sight of me. He began not eating last week (which really scared me) then he began to shed about the 4th day into his hunger strike which lessened my worry. On the 7th day I got him to eat a superworm and that was it. It's now day 10 and still he won't eat. He's still shedding slightly. His hiding/lunging/hissing at the tongs for feeding started right before his shed. Any advice would be appreciated. And yes, I know they're antisocial creatures, I don't want to take him out and pet him or anything I just would like some insight on his sudden hiding and aggression.

Your chameleon is a teenager, that's how they act, human or chameleon! Keep doing your best to handle your chameleon. It's a phase. It will pass if you keep handling it and don't show fear! They usualy sal down once they are out of their cage.
