Hi all, I'm wanting to make an outdoor enclosure to get my chameleons some natural sunlight-
The question is should I use mesh that will exclude bees but still be large enough to allow light in? I was going to use a half inch or inch mesh , I will add potted plants and can play it safe by not adding flowering plants but maybe I need to try and make it 100% bee proof with a finer mesh. We are in the depths of the country and there are hives close by. Maybe even a CB cham knows not to eat a bee but its not a risk I want to take!
The cage will be 6ft Lx 3ftH and 2ft d, starting at table height.
I am in England -dont laugh- we DO have sun - sometimes! the cage will face south on the side of my reptile shed and I will clad sides and roof with polycarbonate sheets to try and cut down wind , draughts and increase useable time they can have out there- front will be mesh clad doors..
Any info gratefully received.
