I came home to the LARGEST bowel movement I have ever seen from Leo. Perhaps he was just bloated/constipated? I attached a photo of his belly tonight when he was ready for bed. Looks more normal I’d say. Also, this is the 2nd time the little booger has pooped in his feeding cup.

Birds do have muscles surrounding their cloaca, yes. Spincters, by definition, are circular muscles. They just go pretty much whenever they want, cause they're birds. Same with arboreal reptiles really, haha!

This is probably for the best! Which reminds me of a news coverage I was watching on CNN. The anchor was in Florida and a big old lizard just jumped right on her on live television. I couldn't stop laughing.
