right now i use paper towels on the bottom of the cage but i was wondering what would work better because they help with absorbing the water from misting but i feel that they are soaked after 2 misting times. what do yall use on the bottom of your cages?

Most pet stores sell a compacted brick of coconut husk or whatever you wanna call it. Just add a gallon of water let it sit for 30 minutes and then use as better. It is great and not harmful for reptiles if they get some ingested while eating. I think it cost me like 6 bucks for that he block and I not used like half so don't think the small block isn't enough cause it is.

nothing. chameleons can become impacted if they substrate. it's really best to just have a bare bottom and have a drainage system to deal with excess water.
