Bathing Chameleons

How often should I bathe my 1 year old veiled chameleon??? He has been shedding a bit and I know I should shower him soon. Can anyone help me with how often to bathe him??

You dont really need to shower them unless there is a problem. As long as you keep good humidity up and make sure they have a water source (not standing water, the lick water off the leaves, so you have to either mist or get a drip system) shedding should be fine.

I don't believe there is a recommended frequency for bathing. I think it depends on your set up; if he gets adequate misting and has the appropriate humidity in his enclosure you really don't have to do anything special. Some people shower them daily and others less. Do not immerse him in water though as chams cannot swim and it will freak him out. If he is shedding you could mist more often or shower every day or every other day while that is happening.
