Basking

Hey guys I have my male panther RBBB he is around 1.5 yrs old. He has a 50 watt basking bulb along with a t5 HO 5.0 6%. He just hasn’t been basking the last couple of days. His temps are around 83-87 should I be concerned? 2CDC6B20-6B7A-4A01-86B4-46E18D7FA6C6.jpeg

Just wondering, do people specify that their cham is a BBRB or RBBB for a reason? Does it change the husbandry of the cham? I know nothing about panthers.

I don't think him not basking is a problem, your temps are on the high side. 75°F – 82°F is recommended ambient temp.

IDK about the first question. I've only seen it a handful of times—usually when people are shopping for a particular color scheme.

No effect on husbandry, TMK.
