Hi, i would like to ask you what do you think about this... i have recently improvised a basking light on top of my cage (pics below) and would like to know if its a better idea to put the regular house bulb which i use in the improvised lamp into my double bell which has a free spot for a light, i know it would have to be like a feet away from any branch, i could try that, but what do you think? could it be a better idea to leave it as it is??

I recommend having it closer, probably in the dual fixture. It doesnt need to be a foot away. If its too hot in the dual fixture, use a lower wattage bulb.:)
What are your temps, at basking, middle of cage, and bottom of cage? Also whats the ambient temp of the room?

the bulb is 50W, ambient temp is 68, the middle of cage, where the thermometer is, is at 70, so i guess its a good idea to put it in the dual fisture
