Basking spot temps

I have a problem and they are about 3.5 inches long when they are shipped to me! In all seriousness though, I was wondering what most people kept their baby panthers basking spot at? I am planning on getting a female nosy be as well as a thermostat to run both cages off of next weekend at a local reptile show and am trying to determine what temp I should set it at. Also at what age do you raise the basking spot temps and what do you raise it to?

Ok, after a little research, I found 82-83 degrees for the basking spot and just wanted to make sure that was accurate, I am not trying to create redundancy in posts but want to make sure that I am dead on since I will soon be responsible for two lives.
