thank you !Hi. Technically you can, but chams are attracted to not just the heat, but the light. Even though my plant lights don’t put out much heat, all of my chameleons are attracted to their mega brightness for basking rather than the less bright but warm basking lights.
Led lights put out little to no heat. You want either an old fashioned incandescent or halogen.thank you !
so what is more recommend a yellow light ? or a white led light ?
I don't disagree. However, for those who can no longer get suitable incandescent/halogen bulbs, IMO a CHE is a viable option.I like this explanation of why using white light bulbs creates more efficient heating than ceramic heat emitters
