Just bought my dude the 24x24x48 in closure what size basking bulb do I need?

So it will be the same as what he had before. Same with distances unless you have them really close and there is a thermal burn risk. Typically it does not change the basking temp much at all when you go up to a 2x2x4. This goes for T5HO UVB as well your distances should be correct for basking based on what your using.
