Basking Light question?

I'm using regular 75 watt bulb from walmart. Is this ok? Should it be ok? There a certain type I should be using?

That type bulb will be fine as long as it is providing the correct basking temp for your chameleon. Personally, I have never had to use a higher watt that a 60 to obtain the correct temps.

If you are not getting the temp listed in the care sheet then try a higher wattage bulb. They need the warmer temps in order to properly digest their food.

this is where i moved it.

The current temp.

Try a higher wattage bulb. Get that temp to 82 degrees for the basking spot. Even up to 85 is just fine. They need the heat to help digest the food.
