Led bulbs tend to put off a lot less heat than a regular incandescent.
No that is an LED... Anything that says LED equivalent for an incandescent will not work.

Agree; an LED is not an incandescent (old style). You want an archaic, energy sucking, inefficient household lightbulb. Floods will also work, provided they're also incandescent. Halogens too, but they can get even hotter.
