Baking a mystery branch

So I found a random branch in my back yard that I want to use for my cham. Any advice how to bake it? Thanks.
By the way, there are no trees in my backyard... Only a magnolia tree in my neighbor's backyard about 5 feet from my backyard.

I just soak my branches in a 10:1 water to bleach solution, then rinse well. I then soak in water with a little dish soap, again rinsing well a few times.

If a bird or other animal/racoon, skunk, pooped or p-d on it I would still bake it if it fits in your oven! Bleach won't kill coccidia!

Forgot to mention that I scrub before each soaking session.

But yes, baking won't hurt it!! I just don't feel it is necessary...

I want to bake it. Just wanted to make sure its safe. So what temp and how long?

Depends if you are putting sprinkles on it?

safe?? well.... the branch isn't going to feel any pain....
I would put it in at a lower temp so you don't ignite it!! but not too sure as I have never done this.

Not the branch itself... It needs to be safe for my cham.
