Ok, so I've been testing out different wattage bulbs and the temps are staying in the 90s even with a 40 watt, is it my thermometer, do I need a new one or just go down to 20?

It's a diginal thermometer and hygrometer 2 in 1 type thing, it says the humidity is 45 to 50% without misting and I'm down to a 40 watt bulb and it gets to 95 degreeswhat are you using to test the temps with?
What about humidity? I dont know if that's correct eitherI've lost my faith in most thermometer hygrometer combos. I find I have to use them with a laser thermometer to have a clue to the actual temp.
Great? do u have a link to a good one?I am thinking you got a bad one. I have multiples... lol I do not like the dual probe ones though.
I have a herpstat hun. It has an extremely accurate probe for the device. This is what I use to know and keep my basking temps exact.Great? do u have a link to a good one?
