Ok so now im looking at lay boxes. ive watched the video and they seem pretty large. So for the cage that we have for now, what would you all recommend for the size of bin and what material we should put in it?

I’ve found my girls have preferred bins that are at least 12” wide and long. You’ll want to use washed play sand (like the type used in kid’s sandboxes). Fill the bin to about 5-6” deep and moisten the sand so that it forms a tunnel without collapsing. It also helps to drill a few tiny holes in the bottom for excess water drainage so it doesn’t turn into a muddy pit.

Whats the best color for this bin? I can really only find clear bins. Her current cage is one foot by one foot by one food. Id like to get her one for now as we wait to see how the ownership situation goes. does anyone have a link to a bin I could get?
Also is this a good material? https://www.amazon.com/PlaySand-Quikrete-Sandbox-Play-Sand/dp/B0896YDW45
A clear bin is fine. This one is a bit short, but may work. https://www.target.com/p/medium-mod...m/-/A-85665002?preselect=83279856#lnk=sametab Here’s a taller version, that would be better. https://www.target.com/p/large-modu...m/-/A-85665003?preselect=83279890#lnk=sametab
That play sand is fine and similar to the one I’ve used.
Her enclosure is only 1x1x1’? Seriously?

Ya, that’s what the teacher has been keeping her in, it’s awful. If I’m able to get full ownership of her, I’m 100% get a better cage.
