hey, today i got a new veiled chameleon baby he is a month old only he is 3 grams.... hes tiny!!! So i just want to know if im carring for him right since all my chams are about a year old and ive never had one under 3 months. He is in a 24 by 18 by 48 100 gallon reptarium, people say to start them out in a small setup but he does just fine im always keeping a close eye on him and he already learned where i placed his feeding bowl, wich brings us to the next thing i feed him 8 calcium dusted crix a day and mist him 4 times his humidity is about 65 -80 his temps are around 75 and basking is 84ish. Im new to the forums but not new to chameleons i currently have 4 chams and have had reptiles and chameleons my whole life just never one this young... thanx

i forgot, his dipper runs for most of the day

What I do what helps me with a small cham in a big enclosure is put a small plant raised off the ground by an upsidedown pot so it is higher up towards the top and then the cham doesnt seem lost in there and i can be sure he can find his food. here is a photo

I am using a 2x2x4 enclosure

hey thanks for the advice but i dont undrstand what your saying and in your pics isnt that a regular pot?

once he gets bigger i will end up planting the plant in the pot and placing it on the bottom and hang a pathos from the ceiling for the upper portion of the enclosure

cool, i have one pothos on the top hanging down and one on the bottlom clmbing up i love them, pothos and umbrellas are the best i find hibiscus a bit hard to care for do you know any hibiscus tips i have one and the leaves are all turning yellow/\?

My only tip for hisbiscus is to not buy them lol, I tried and failed to keep it alive so its now at the landfill
