Hi I just got a baby veiled chameleon today and was wondering when I can start holding it?

Welcome and congrats! Typically they are a “look but don’t touch” type of pet. Building trust is important so I would advise you to limit contact besides feeding/misting/cleaning for a couple of weeks. Let them get acclimated to their new home. Also, it’s important to have the right set up with lots of coverage so your little guy/girl feels comfortable.
