Recieved my female elliots and a breeding pair of hoehnelii last week. Female gave birth to 10 babies on Saturday. All 10 still alive and doing well. Feeding on fruit flys as of now. Any recommendations on how to dust them with killing them before Feeding?

It's a bit of a task... I usually put the fruit fly cup in a xxl Ziploc bag, with an air pocket; and open the lid a bit to release some, while the bag is closed. When enough have exited, I shake the bag/cup so they fall to the bottom of the bag/cup and try to quickly close the lid of the cup. Unfortunately some get caught in the lid rim... I've also tried cutting a large "exit hole" in the lid, that I can quickly cover with tape. If I had to keep fruit flies again, I would use the hole/tape in the lid method... Once the lid is covered, I shake it again until they're on the bottom and quickly open the bag to take the cup out. Close the bag again; get out the vitamins and add a bit at a time, use a tiny spoon and add a pinch at a time. It's easy to add more, but you can't take away when you've added too much.... Sort of like alcohol for us indulging humans. 😂
