Well I keep my babies in bins like that.
For crickets they cant escape because the bin is smooth plastic.
For flightless fruit flies Ive had people say that SMOOTH packaging tape works
You just tape around a even line about 3-4inches from the top and the flies cant climb it
Yes the crickets climb sometimes but they dont get far and the babies have outgrown fruit flies but i do put them in every once in awhile and the packaging tape works great around the bin. I will take better pics today. Alot has changed since those last 2 pictures.
