hi all, i am getting a couple of baby panther's in a few weeks and will be keeping them in a 45cm cube exo terra just for a wee while until they are a wee bit bigger and i am happy with health, eating, etc. but how old will they need to be before i put them into their 4ftx2ftx2ft enclosure. and will i need to put them into an enclosure in between those sizes before the big one.
and before i get grief for the exo terra i stay in scotland and it is bloody freezing.

I believe around 8 months

It'll really comes down to how fast they grow.

Your best bet is if you can limit the 2x2x4 cages to a size of 2x2x3 or 2x2x2.

My ~5 month male had no issue with his 2x2x4 cage.
My ~5 month old female I have now would be ok with the cage.
My other ~4-5 month old female I would never dream of it, she's just growing slowly and is way too small despite eating MORE then the bigger female, go figure lol.
