title says it all. I noticed it tonight as I was handling him. He's about 1.5 to 2 months old and is otherwise eating, drinking, and pooping very healthy. He has been active but was noticeably less active today after a large lunch. I plan on taking him to the vet after school tomorrow, what should I expect?

I good photo with a couple of views would be helpful.

How much are you handling him? At that age, they are extremely fragile. I personally wouldn't be handling anything that small.

minimally being handled, I've been trying to keep him low stress but tonight I just wanted to do a body check on him and noticed this

I have no idea what that is. Could be an abscess. I would have a vet take a look. How long have you had him? Did he come with that mottled/marked look to his skin or is that just the picture? He just looks kind of banged up to me. It could just be the picture. He could get marked up if he was raised with a lot of babies.

No that's just the picture, he's more grey and white than that. My light from my ceiling probably didn't help too much. I've had him for over 2 weeks now and from what I read I believe it also to be an abscess. He was the largest of the batch when I bought him and wasn't bruised or banged up as far as I could tell. This is the first I've seen of this bump

He did fall once in his cage when I got him because I accidently shook the vine he was on, but no black bruising or signs of trauma. He eats very well also
