Baby Panther eating driftwood

Is this normal? I sprayed her down with water and she started to bite the wood.

kinda freaked me out.

I had the same thing with my female ambilobe. Someone on the forum said it was most likely her practicing her kill bite. I saw it a couple of time where she would bite at the twigs in her cage but it has not happened in a month and she is doing great.

I've seen the little ones do this before when they get nervous. I wouldn't worry about it unless they are constantly doing it.
