Congrats on the success ^^ hopefully he'll start eating the crickets soon so you don't have to worry so much XD and then he'll have more variety <3 but until that day as long as he's happy and eating like the little baby he is all is good ^^. Keep us updated on the cutie <3

Am i supposed to be calcium dusting the flies like i do the crickets? Ive tried it with a few and they seem to just die real quickly.....

Hey guys.. So he's eating like crazy but now I've been catching him rubbing his eye all the time... He gets this large bubble under the skin of his eye and then he rubs it out....What does this mean and how can I help the little guy?

Could be something is stuck in his eye, like a piece of shed skin or something. I don't know for sure, someone else might have better information.

Eye problems for baby panther

Hey guys,

New day new problem. My little guy is eating and hydrating regularly but his right eye remained closed this evening. I have browsed this forum and found that eye problems are probably one of the more frequent things addressed here....

Is there a definitive answer to closed eye issues? Should i try a new bulb? I am currently using a standard 65 w basking bulb and it is about 8 in above his cage. As stated in prior posts his eye has ballooned up on a daily basis since we got him a few weeks ago. The vet is not near by so any help is appreciated for those of you who have gone already for this issue. I also worry about his stress levels in transporting him such a long ways to the vet...
