Here are me and my fiance's two beautiful chameleons. The big veiled chameleon is levi and the baby is leon. Levi is around 1 year old and I think leon is around 4 months, would anyone have a different opinion on how old he is? Well heres the pics, hope you enjoy them and feel free to ask any questions.

no offence but you shouldn´t be playing with your animals, that jemen could easily eat up the jackson on his back, otherwise nice chameleons

Believe me we were very careful when we put both of them together, so we know what were doing. Thanks for your opinion. Oh and it's called a veiled chameleon, not a jemen chameleon.

I think he/she means Yemen cham, which is also what they are called, Calyptratus Yemen Veiled.

I know you guys were really careful with them to take a quick second for a pic, but your poor little Jacksons was probably about to have a little heart attack  ;)

I am not sure of the age but you will kill that jackson by stressing it out both playing with it and even worst putting is on top of that veiled. jmo

I think you mean should not be playing with the cham & I agree

I am not trying to be mean to you, but I don't think you know how fast that veiled can move and how hard it is on the jackson, with both the veiled and the people near it. how would you feel surrounded by thinks many times your size? Stress really is the biggest killer of chameleons in captivity.

Very well stated.

OP all we are trying to do is protect your chams for you..

Sorry to say I agree that you should not put these chameleons together. Vieled or Yemen chameleons are particularly ravenous when it comes to eating and that big male could easily swallow that little jack.

As for age of your little guy, here's a great thread Tiff dud showing her jacksons Monty at different ages on her hand for scale. I know they're all different but it can at lease be a guide for you. https://www.chameleonforums.com/monty-jackson-first-year-photos-93405/

I think that the little Jackson is likely to be older than 4 months, judging by the size of his horns. At 4 months my Jax had the point of the horns and two more 'rings'. As others have already said, stress is a silent killer. Also, his colour sugests older than 4 months too - baby Jacksons are brown with white markings. Mine didn't start to go green until about 6 months of age.

not a good idea at all that veiled could snatch him up i wouldn't ever do something like this to my chams to many things could happen
