Baby jackson chameleon sick?

I have a baby jackson chameleon about 4-5 months old and he recently started to lean only to one side. And he stays on the bottom branch all day I was wondering if anyone could tell me if he could be sick.. I have had him since he was 3 days old.

Is he well hydrated and does he have a dripper system set up?

I'm new to chameleons, but my first observation about your enclosure is that it is too low and is in a stressful place. The picture is upside down when I open it, but it looks like it is almost on the floor beside a place where shoes are stored and maybe a kid's basketball hoop. Chameleons need to by high. Being so low, especially in such a high-traffic/activity area, will be incredibly stressful for your little guy.

Also--remember I'm pretty new to keeping reptiles--I was a little bothered by the shape of his back legs. Maybe he has some MBD going on. Perhaps you could post some more pictures to show his legs and joints.

He looks fine. He does not have MBD. Jackson's are not prone to getting MBD.

Hs does have a drip system and we must him everyday... We have also moved the basketball hoop away from the cage. Thank u for the link I will look at that

Remember most chameleons do not like being handled a lot. A lot of their unusual stress can be contributed to this. He looks puffed up on your finger very slightly. Little action = big reaction for more than 1 day.

I'm not telling you to give up hope. But Jacksons are a bread that either make it or they don't. By that I mean you can do everything right and they still don't make it. I had to set back and watch 15 of them die without any apparent reason what so ever looked fat and sassy, and were eating and drinking well.

No with these guys it's kinda like gambling if you're lucky you win if your not you crap out.

Is he leaning all the time or only when basking? It is normal to lean when basking so the body surface has maximum exposure to the light.
