Sorry if this questions has been asked before but I did a search and did not find exact match... So I noticed a few hours ago a baby cham head is outside of the egg and is just laying there. He is still alive as I do see his eyes move. I read the other threads about not helping him as he may still but using up the yoke and not to damage him. However how long can I expect him to do this before I worry? I have lost a few eggs in the batch already so a little on edge. I did see on other threads the mention of egg splitting.. Is this the same thing as meant by baby split the egg? To have his head out just chilling? I saw in the other threads about egg splitting is it could take days.
