baby dubia for a baby cham?

are the newborn dubia roaches too big for a 10-12 week old cham? I will be starting a colony here shortly and it would be more convenient if, when i get my cham, i could feed him the babies and give the adults to my grown beardies. Has anyone fed babies to their babies? Thanks. Also I bought an old antique bird cage thats tall and cylindrical in shape and I am going to cover the inside of with this plastic multi-purpose netting that says its safe for pets b/c no sharp edges. the holes in the mesh are 3/4"x1" this is not too big for a baby that same age is it?

Thanks

I don't know about the netting, but I certanly give my young panthers baby dubias. They gobble them right up!

That mess should be ok if you get a 3+ months old chameleon probably but i think it would be to close so you might want to get a small cage or something until it grows a little which doesnt take very long. Dubia are great for all size chameleons
