Baby Chameleon

I am a new chameleon owner and I am looking for a good home for my baby, I got her about two week ago and I don't know if I have the resources to take care of her/him. I love her/him so much and it is friendly, but I have spent so much money on it and I am assuming I will have to spend even more in the future. My landlord also just advised us we are not allowed to have pets next year including reptiles. I am so sad but I can't get fined by my landlord and my parents won't take my chameleon in their home. I guess I am just loooking for a new home for it.

Is it legal for a landlord to evict your animal if they change the rule after you already have it? (Serious question I really don’t know)

Well I don't know... the lease just says no animals even reptiles, I might give a call and ask however if she says no I want a good home for it to go to.

Where are you located? Also, there is a rehoming page on Facebook for Chameleons called Chameleon gems: a rehoming group. You might check there.

i am in Lexington, I don't have a Facebook but if you think that would be the only way I might make one or use my friends.

If you signed the lease, and it stated no animals, BEFORE you got lizard, then yeah they can evict you.
If they changed the rules AFTER you signed the lease i do not think they can

Are you charging a rehoming fee? Are you including the equipment in the rehoming fee, or for extra, or not at all? Are you willing to ship?

Shipyourreptiles.com are a good choice for shipping. Do not ship if they cannot guarantee the live shipping.

What will your rehoming fee be?

I have spent over $600 on my chameleon becuase I bought it all the best stuff, but at this point I would rehome her for $400
