Baby chameleon emergency

I will definitely let you guys know. Thanks

Please I would really like to read about your recommendations for my set up cage as in thr future to be more vigilant. So please if you have time just send it over.
Many thanks
Ok hun. When you get time fill out this form with detail for me by copy/pasting it into your reply to fill out. Then post more pics for me of the enclosure top to bottom. Then we can do a full husbandry review for you. Good way to correct things before there is an issue. I would love to confirm gender for you. But I would need better pics of the back of the back feet. See if you have any on your phone I would rather not disturb baby right now. I am not seeing a tarsal spur so I am leaning towards a little girl.

Please Note:

  1. The more details you provide the better and more accurate help you will receive.
  2. Photos can be very helpful.

Do you have pictures of your baby before he fell? JMHO The back looks more like a birth defect and not a fall injury.
What state are you from, so members can advise on a good vet.
Also, is he eating?
Hello,
I've got this picture with him before the fall.
He was eating well but only fruit flies, I tried cricket but with no success. I m from UK unfortunately so I m looking for a good vet here.
Many thanks

Hello people,
Unfortunately today we had to say goodbye to our preloved little boy, I took him to the wet but they couldn't help. As he is so tiny, the doctor said the painkillers could go really wrong.
I m so devastated for letting him to go but I feel like this was the best option.
Many thanks for everybodys help!
I will post a last picture with him.
😭😭😭

Sorry for your loss hun.

Sorry for your loss but use it as a learning experience and process.

The forum and people here are to help with any questions you may have.

Personally, I would go back to the place you purchased from and share your experience and pain. I can be a pain but always want a fair deal.
If purchased online, I would share the story with pictures, sometimes they will stand by their animals.

JMHO If you get a second one, which I hope you do, since they are wonderful critters. Be very picky, ask questions, and have it feed in front of you, if possible. Babies don't seem very shy about eating but each one is different.

Good luck with whatever you choose. (y)
