baby chameleon being sprayed by mister?

so im working on setting up my mister now and im wondering if i have to worry about my little chameleon being sprayed, he's a few months old and if the mister goes off it could spray him depending on where he is in the cage i know babies have a tendency to drown themselves. is there anything you guys recommend so he doesn't drown or get misted in the face?

I think they learn pretty quickly where the mister sprays and to avoid it. I try to angle my spray heads so they don’t directly hit the basking area and have plenty of plant cover to act as little umbrellas.

Yeah, he'll figure it out and bolt.

okay thank you! he usually starts trying to get away from it when he hears it kick on but if it starts dripping he'll just sit under it
