Baby C. parsonii catching a grasshopper

Nice chams. In the last video your female is just like "I'm goning to close my eyes and enjoy this grasshopper for a while":D:D:D:D:D:D
 
I love the foilage you have. Is it real and what is it? BTW love the chams too, they look so content in their habitat.
 
Awww! Your baby cham is sooo cute! Of all baby chameleons, I think it's the baby Parsonii that look the cutest by far! S/he is a gorgeous!:D
 
The foliage you have is called ming aralia. It is a very strong skin irritant for humans and can make you sick if you eat it. Generally it is not a problem with my chams, since they are panthers, but it wouldn't be good with veileds. you parson's are truly amazing. I love those chams. Just make sure they don't get aholdof any of the leaves with their feeders, they are far to gorgeous and expensive to get sick from a plant. Ming aralia work out well in all my enclosures though, they are like bonsai trees if you trim them right and are nearly impossible to kill. I use them for my brevs and for cover in my panther cages.
 
I think the baby is adorable. Nice video. Where do you live and how many parsonii do you have? I would love one but I don't think that is in the cards.:(

Yes, they are real.
My wife bought them to place in the house. They look good, so i took them and place them in my parsonii cage.. lol

Yes, you are right. The leaves of Ming aralia have some soft spines on them...it may sometimes be a little irritating to some people (like me). But I used them for my panthers before and they worked quite well.
By the way, they are really really hardy...and seriously, very hardy! lol

Hi Laurie.

I live in Hong Kong. And currently I have 2 parsonii, one baby male, and one female (14cm STV). I worked with Panthers a couple of years back, but I had to sell/ give out all of them when the female Parson first arrived. Coz I really lack the space needed for her.

Now I'm keeping her in a 6.5ft x 6ft x 4ft custom build enclosure, while the baby is kept in a 3ft x 2ft x 2.5ft glass enclosure.

The only problem I have now is to acquire a similar sized parsonii for the female...
 
lol the little baby eats like my 600g melleri! He eats.... sits.... like hes sucking on the food and then after a minute or two he'll chew up the cricket. :D
