Long term wild caught. Originally came from redisland.
Age: Unknown.
Food: Loves anything really. I personally hand feed this beast crickets, cicadas, grasshoppers, dubia, crickets, horns and silks. His appetite is through the roof literally. I typically give him 10-12 large crickets or 6-8 large dubia every other day. The rest i give on the off days and give just a few. He will eat you out of a house and home if you let him.
Water: He is big and needs a bunch of water. He drinks like a meller to give you and idea.
Disposition: He is very manageable. He does defensive posture when you get close but i have not seen him even start to strike. It is not to say he wont in anothers care but he has never tried with me. He is a gentle giant in my eyes.
Will readily breed, loves the ladies.
He is huge. The guy will need a large set up with a large tree and furnishings. When i say big he is big.
He came to me with a few missing toe nails, a little snout rub and im sure these were due to housed in a small environment with small screen or due to capture. I have not seen him once act as if he is unhappy. He is however in a 3x3x6 cage with a huge ficus and lots of large rope. I do have a free range in the living room that he is allowed to explore from time to time. Dont expect this chameleon to feel at home in a 2x2x4.
He is not for the inexperienced and i wont even consider it.
