Attitude!

So wear a glove if I'm not in the mood to get a snip from him? And I heard black gloves are bad?

Skip the glove, as was said you want them to get used to your bare hand. I put my hand about a body length (of the cham of course) away from it while holding the back leg of the cricket between thumb and forefinger. First time I was waiting for about 6 minutes but it felt like 40 because crickets are an excellent isometric work out. Also make sure that your cham is hungry. There is no use trying to feed it from your hand (a new way of feeding for it) if it already has been stuffed full from other venues. Please note I'm not saying starve it. Just start the normal feed time with a hand feed.

Hope that helps!

PS he is absolutely gorgeous!

Thank you! And I have tried holding the cricket from the legs and swear, every single time I do the cricket decides to break its leg off and make a break for it. I'm going to try a mealworm in the palm of my hand when I get off work.
