Attempted escape...lol

Hello everybody, so I have had my Panther almost a month now and he is about 1 yr old. So Sunday I was spraying down the cage and he started coming out of the cage. No big deal. But then just now I opened his cage to get left over crickets and he came out of the cage quite a bit. He almost reached out and he went up my arm and on my shirt and stuff, no big deal. But then after a min I put him back in and he kept trying to come out immediately to crawl up again and again. Every time I put him back in (prolly 4 or 5 times) he would come right back out.

I want to think he is getting really comfy with me as I hand feed him horn worms and I hand water him (drops out of the water bottle) and handle him more often. But I just hope he is not frightened by anything in his cage or that he is scared for some reason of something.

I am fairly new to Chams, so if you guys cam maybe tell me what you think it might be? Good or bad or just in an energetic mood maybe? Have you ever experienced this?

Thanks everyone in advance!

If he does not look stressed I would say he is fine. My chameleon loves to come out and after I put him back sometimes wants to came out again if he feels he was not out enough :)

I have 2 chams a male veild about 6 mths old and female panther about 5 mths old bought them last part of November 2015,I take them out every day ,they do the same thing so I would say that's normal, I read that some people don't take them out at all because they get stressed out

Don't think he looked stressed, just really eager to come out.
