Ate moth?

I've read that normal brown mothes are okay for chameleons, but while in his outdoor enclosure (no idea how it possibly squeezed through the mesh) a white and grey moth (pattern on it looked like a tree) was on a branch, and he ate it. Are those okay too?

Google to find out the name of the moth and then find out if it's safe.

The only thing you can do is watch him and see if he acts strange. I'd imagine there are a lot of black and white moths so guessing won't get you anywhere lol.

If indeed a month, rather than a butterfly, it is almost certainly okay that it got eaten. They dont provide much nutrition (fairly fatty) but chameleons do enjoy eating moths.

I could tell he seemed ecstatic about it, wasn't too happy about the crickets later though.
