Artificial turf?

Has anyone tried using the new fake grass products on the bottom of chameleon cages? I'm currently working with 2 rehabs. I'm looking for something that will provide traction, cushioning, is bleachable and will keep them out of puddles on the bottom without stopping drainage. It doesn't hurt that it might look cool.

Looking for feed back especially from anyone who has tried it. Potential drawbacks?

I have many years ago and found that it just isn't worth it. Their claws can get stuck in it...its a lot of work to keep it clean...insects hide under it...etc

The claws getting stuck is a major drawback.
I'm helping with a MBD rehab who is still uncoordinated and was looking for solutions. Towels just get so soggy.

He's getting calcium, some liquid feeding and disabling feeders or hand feeding depending. Keeping in a short cage so he's getting UVB there and outside when So Cal is warm enough. He's improved a great deal but its slow progress. He was on deaths door when he was handed over. He can climb some now but occasionally gets in awkward places.
