Today I got home to my cage set up and lights on and all and didnt understand so I went to check it out and low and behold baby chameleons! HWJDKGJSHnskjfjfjaj. MY GIRLFRIEND GOT THEM FOR V DAY. I have to set up another cage so I can divide them but man I wasnt expecting to get any yet and she got them. Holy smokes I am stoked.

Well she got 2 small veileds, I want a ambilobe panther, but I am sooo stoked either way! I will just have to make more room for one a little later ;) these two both look pretty solid. The one is shy while the other could care less. Already eating too

She's a KEEPER! (and by that I mean a girl you don't want to let go,... and the dual meaning of one who has chameleons as pets... oh nevermind...this Doctor Evil impersonation NEVER works when I type it...) Congrats! Can't wait to see pics, but I guess you've got your hands full! :D

that is a awesome gf!!
you will love the veileds i am sure...
congrats, but we do need pics u know!

Wow nice V Day gift, we need pictures, I agree with deca sounds like your girlfriend is a keeper. :D

here are just a few pictures! You can tell the one shedding doesn't really mind the attention, but the other little guy isn't really a people person. Maybe with time though. Also if anyone has any suggestion on supplementing for them and any insight on their sex that would be awesome! Let me know what you all think!

Sexing them is easy - just look at the back of their back feet, where their heels are. If you have a boy there should be a tiny little nub there, what is called a spur, while a female will not have that. If you still can't tell just post photos of their back feet clearly and we will help you out.

As for supplementing them, you want to have a plain calcium (no phosphorous, no vitamin D3) for daily use. That's the most important one, and unfortunately most pet stores don't carry it so you might have to order it in but it shouldn't be expensive. Then you will need a calcium with vitamin D3 that you can provide about twice a month (depending on the brand) and a multivitamin (also for twice a month, depending on brand).

This should help answer most of your questions: https://www.chameleonforums.com/care/food/
Take a look through that and if you still have any questions feel free to ask!

Congrats on the little ones!

Good looking little ones :D Check out the links in husbandry and start with the care sheet,on supplementation there are also general guides as a good place to start, after that you will get some slight different ideas on what brand etc. we will be happy to help any way we can. Close up picts of the base of the tail/vent area will help determine sex.
