Arlington Texas Reptile Expo

I'm planning on going on the 21st, my car club is having a dyno day and bbq on the 20th, $20 for 2 pulls cant beat that. This will be my first reptile expo, but I'm looking forward to it.

We are thinking about doing the one in Feb... Has anybody here been to this show? Feedback..?..?..

I havent been to any in texas. I went to one in california 3 years ago when I was playing paintball their and I almost went to one in austin, but others said it wasn't that great for chameleons(mainly beardies/snakes) so I didn't. I know there are alot of people here into chameleons i just havent heard anything great about reptile shows

I have been to the last two shows. They get pretty busy. More snakes and bearded dragons than Chams. Most chams no matter the size are kept in deli cups. One vendor was selling baby blue ambilobes for about $200-$250 but they were VERY small. No more than 2 mos old. Another had 8 adults in a small Zilla screen enclosure and had NO idea what they were. I did get a good deal on some driftwood though.

It's a Z car club. I have a 93 300zx that has way too much money into it and is way too much fun.
Ya I'm not expecting there to be a lot as far as chams. I mainly want to go just to check it out and maybe pick up some insects and accessories.bighutch917 said:

I spoke with Brian P the other day about going... He said that it will be a good show, but then again it is his show so he would say that. 
... He said as large as the Anaheim show (if you have ever been) but a little less foot traffic. We will make up our mind on if we will go at the Super Show in Jan... With the price of gas down we are going to try and hit as many as possible.
