Are these branches ok??

I just added a few horizontal highways to one of my baby veiled's enclosure. I ordered a few of the exo-terra bendable jungle vines in different sizes but they have not arrived yet. So I was at Old Time Pottery in the arts & crafts and found some willow branches (used in floral arrangements). I thought these would be a great temporary solution until the exo-terra jungle vines arrive. I used thumb tacks on each side to hold in place, although the mesh netting is very flimsy! The girl climbed on it right away and has been basking on it all morning :D I just want to make sure that these are ok and safe to use. I also found some cute decorative metal lizard thingies to put up on the wall of the chameleon room

Why not just go pick some free sticks from outside?

There aren't many options near me... I live in a townhouse on the beach, surrounded by sand and weeds lol. We have some plants but they are mostly small decorative ones with foliage (crotons, pothos, ferns, cactus, desert rose, bonsai, orchids and money-trees) There is 1 huge tree out back (over 2 stories tall). The branches are HUGE, nothing I'd be able to fit in their cages =\ What do you do about ants/mites from outdoor trees/plants/branches?

You should be fine, if your worried you could always disinfect them and maybe even bake them to kill off anything.

I have a assortment of umbrella trees etc.. but i also use branches from trees in my area, i just bake them for a little while to decrease the chance of any bug or bacteria making its way into my chams enclosure
