Are panthers difficult?

I own a Jackson's and he's awesome, but i love panthers because of their colors. Are they more tempered and difficult than jacksons?

50/50 some are friendly some are quite the opposite as with all chams its totally hit or miss everyone is different in there own way

Nope, I don't think so at all. I also started with a Jackson's and went on to get panthers next and I found the transition very simple. They just need a slightly higher watt bulb and more supplementing, which aren't difficult adjustments to make in my opinion. They can be more feisty than Jackson's - I still haven't met an aggressive Jackson's, but panthers come in anything from friendly to demonic, so the individual personality will vary.

I've had 6 panthers by now and only 2 were aggressive, but even with some patience even they relaxed a bit.

It all depends on the personality, I have a couple of panthers and they haven't bitten me once. They r the easiest to care 4 in my opinion, and all their colors really pop.

I dont think you'll find them any harder than a jackson, a bit different in care but not harder. And I find panthers are generally quite mild tempered. I've only had a couple that plotted my death, and even they could be coaxed and calmed over time

My panthers are the sweetest chams I have. My Nosy be Gizmo is a compleat character and the most chill chameleon ever.

What are the 'best' humid, temp, cage size requirements for a panther? I have done hours of research and i have found lots of variation between websites!

Male or female? Young or old?

I keep adult males at 40-70%humidity (i aim for 60%)
65F-70F at night, 70-75F ambient day temp with hot basking spot at 80-90F
Cage is minimally 2 foot wide, 2 foot deep, 4 foot height.
