It seems that Cosmo's stripes get really dark sometimes ( the bands separating the different greens). Like this morning the bands were almost black. He's about a year and a half old. We haven't changed anything care wise.
I know male veileds will get some darker coloration when they get older but I am not too familiar with it. @Beman is the veiled chameleon queen, I bet she would know.
