Are darkling beetles a feeder option?...

I'm sure you can feed them the adults if you can feed them the larva...BUT, I've heard that most beetles don't taste very good, so your cham probably won't eat them.

pretty much the same as the larva. I keep mine on a cm of bran/oats and add pieces of carrot, dandelion, squash, fruit. I give them a couple pieces of coconut shell to hide under.

I didnt mean to have an unhappy face in the title - using a laptop that is sketchy - sorry

I have mine in a bin with an egg crate in it and about 1" of oatmeal (or oat/wheat bran) on the bottom. They lay eggs that hatch into baby superworms (larvae). I have an article on my blog about raising supers you may be interested in reading.

darkling beetles are my chams favorite. i give them to him on special occasions since the shells can be a little harder to digest. but he'll eat 5-6 in a row with no slowing down. (usualy he eats 1 cricket and waits about 20 min. for the next) but with those beetles. oh man! look out for flying tongues!
