Are BSFL soft-bodied feeders?

I was just wondering, are BSFL considered soft bodied or not?? Don’t want to give Stormy too much chitin.

Are you aware that when they pupate they turn harder and black? many people see this and think they are dead but they are just in pupae stage.

Yes i am. I don’t throw them out, and have had a few hatch which I fed off.
