I checked safe plant lists and I didn't see it there, but I looked it up and theres nothing that says its toxic either.

The plant (Arrowhead plant or Syngonium podophyllum)

My teacher gave me a few roots from her plant, I thought it looked like it would be great climbing material for a cham once grown. If not then, oh well, its still a neat plant. :)

If it is not on the Safe Plant List I wouldn't take a chance. English Ivy is not on the list... yet it is toxic to Chams. Better safe then sorry.

I just did a google search on Syngonium podophyllum and it says in many areas that all parts of this plant are poisonous.

Oh, really? >_< I guess I didn't do enough research. I didnt see anything about them being poisonous when I looked them up, but oh well. Thank you very much.

Really? I actually had one on my chameleon's cage. He literally ate all of the plant's leaves :p and nothing has or happened to him. I guess they are really tasty!

So contact with the English ivy leaves isn't harmful, digestion though might be toxic, correct?
Vladdimir26 are you referring to English ivy or arrowhead plant?
