Are all stick insects ok to feed?

:D I'd be afraid of that one but, don't know for sure. They are suppose to eat stink bugs so not positive.

I would say no if they squirt out defensive irritating liquids. If it's known to irritate eyes and skin, I wouldn't necessarily want that getting in anyone's eye or mouth.

I'd treat stick insects like I would anything I catch out in the field. If it has the typical warning colors (black, red, yellow, orange) - I leave it. If it is toxic, produces a stink, or other defensive liquids - I leave it. If it has spikes, sharp bits, or irritating hairs - I leave it.

I'd try to find a different stick insect to feed off, I'm sure there are another dozen species that are easily available and don't produce any defensive mechanisms.

Thank you Olimpia. I'm trying to find one that has more "meat", but haven't seen any info which ones are ok to be fed.

I agree with olympia. That species has the odor-liquid stuff and its probably not a good idea.

Most of the meatier species take a while to mature/breed, cost a TON, etc.
